Tribute to Firemen

A day after Father’s Day our community was devastated with the sad new news about the largest tragedy that has hit this community in recent times. There are several men and women in this practice who are police officers and firemen. Each time they leave after a visit to me I always remind them to be very careful. It is my way of saying I appreciate what you do for our community.

I did not know personally any of the Charleston 9 that lost their lives doing their jobs, but I too have felt the pain of such a tragic lost. So today we at Closing the Gap in Health Care want to say a prayer for our fallen hero's as well as for the ones that still live.
