A True Story

Several years ago I saw very professional woman who told me she was HIV positive. She went on to tell me how her lover had passed away from what she thought was AIDS but she was not sure. She really wanted to talk with me to find out how she could have contracted the disease because she was not a drug user, had not been sleeping around and thought her lover was a straight man. She was looking for answers and had not been able to get any from his friends or family members. I shared with her the attributes of the DLB---the Down Low Brother. As I explained to her in very graphic detail she begin to weep. She left my office and I never saw her again. Ladies, ask the difficult questions of the man you are about to sleep with. Guys, get your-self tested and don’t sleep with any lady OR man without the proper STD evaluations. As Michael Baisden would say, “I said it, yes I did!”
