Are you sure you are walking those 3 miles.

I encourage everybody to walk. You almost can’t be too sick to do something. All of the recent medical research encourages people to be involved in some kind of activity regularly. I also practice what I preach. I was not surprise to find that recent research has now document that all pedometer are not equal. Pedometer is the instrument that folk are buying to help them keep track of how many steps they take in a day. Well it appears that the “alcheapos” are not accurate and in fact 3 out of four them give inaccurate reading. Two thirds of pedometers give credit for steps not taken. I really prefer the old get in your car and check the mileage method. Besides most of the pedometer require one to do some math and you know how we feel about that especially in this technology age. Remember if you want to improve your health about 12 miles per week is the magic number for walking. By the way get some good walking shoes because you don’t want to be walking with bad feet and bad shoes.
